Magnetic straightedge

This convenient guide provides a suite of commonly used angles. The 12" x 2" wide anodized aluminum body has machined slots set at 0°, 30°, 45°, 60°, and 90°, and their supplement angles. The slots locate the included chrome-plated steel rule, and integral rare-earth magnets hold it firmly in position while allowing you to adjust its projection as desired. The 12" x 3/4" rule has ground sides, with Imperial and metric graduations on one side and an angle-setting guide on the other. All markings are etched and black-filled for lasting legibility. While not intended for precision applications, this is an excellent tool for quick layout or sketching designs when inspiration strikes.
